Both of us stayed up too late reading "Miss Peregrines" on our iPads. Wow. I can't wait for the rest of the story!! a2v
Excellent news! I picked up the book 2 days ago on a whim and couldn't put it down. After the first few chapters, I thought to myself, "this would make a great movie." I hope this book makes it to the screen and I hope the author will write another. Thank you for such wonderful characters and a very cool story.
kudos, Ransom. I'm an APA client and am thrilled for you. take a moment to visit my website and feel free to write back, would love to hear from you.
I am in love with a book I've never read, can anyone understand that?
I just bought this book recently and man-oh-man is it intense! I love it!
in a few words; I CANT WAIT TO READ YOUR BOOK!!!
Just finished to book last night. I loved it. 2 good to put down alittle slow starting out but picked up speed fast. I can't wait till the next edition. Hope it is soon.
Will you ever make a second peculiar children? Because it was so interesting and it seems to have an ending that would continue on to a second book. I hope to see a second book so it does not just end with them sailing off to adventure elsewhere
Thank you
Morgan
Are there any plans for a sequel to this book? My granddaughter swears that there has to be a second book!
Just finished this book! I hope there is a movie to follow!!
Wonderful and fun read - thank you!
i would really like to audition for the role of emma, but i cant seem to find it anywhere to be submitted..
I am a young reader from North Carolina, and one day at Barnes and Noble I came across Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children on the Best Sellers' rack. I was not particularly looking for this type of book, but I am so glad I did. It was such a good read that I had trouble putting it down. I love the cultural influences and of course the pictures; they are absolutely fascinating!! I would suggest this book to anyone!
love love love!!
The best book trailer I've ever seen! amazing! Need to read that book!
Hello Mr. Riggs:
I have written to you earlier about my book club I started for students from 3rd grade to high school. The book club is free each student just needs to supply the book. This year my teen students are reading Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children. They are loving the book. I have planned some activities, but I wanted to know if you had any ideas or input for the girls! In the past we have done, The Anne of Green Gables Series, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, All Shook Up, Tom Sawyer and many more... We read 2 books and have discussions, activities and events we do throughout the summer that have connections to the books. Last week we sketched some of the photos from the book and this week we will be painting our own trunk and I will have mini old photos in the trunks as a surprise for the girls. For example for Tom Sawyer the girls volunteered their time to paint a white picket fence that needed painting for a family in the community. We hope to hear from you soon! Dear Sir,
My name is Hope and I am turning 16 this October. With short blonde hair, blue eyes and a muscular build, I am a girl of average height.
I have read your book about the perculiar children under miss peregrines 'wing' and really feel connected to Emma, how cheesy does that sound? Well anyhow it would be an honour for me - a Cambridge based girl with some acting experience - to audition for your movie.
Thank you for your time and please consider me,
Hope Shaw
